Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of six physicians and two advanced practice providers, supported by a dedicated clinical performance nurse.
• Our diverse group hails from around the globe, including the USA, Canada, Pakistan, and South America.
• Be an integral part of various committees, including sepsis, code blue, and stroke.
• Collaborate daily with nurses and multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists.

Qualifications:

• We are looking for a Medical Director with leadership experience or someone eager to step into a leadership role. Training for procedures is available if needed.
• Must be board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 visa candidates, with excellent in-house visa specialists and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• Our staffing includes two physicians and one advanced practitioner per day shift (7 am—7 pm) and one physician on nights (7 pm—7 am), with support for teammates when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a dynamic team of hospitalists and advanced practitioners.
• Work in an open 10-bed low-acuity ICU with intensivist coverage during the day. Our team performs occasional procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubation, and responds to rapid responses and code blues.
