My name is Doris. I am an experienced Operations Coordinator for a private & personalized caregiving company. My office is in East Hartford.
I serve a special segment of the population: very busy professionals, top-level executives, and retired people who used to hold important positions.
My type of client has one big problem, and that is why I am posting here today.
Their problem is that their lives are full and busy, and they dont have enough time to care for their aging parents. For some of them, there are two generations in one home, meaning that they try to help their parents, but work pulls them away sometimes with short notice.
My role is to help them build a small team of 2-3 caregivers they can work closely with and trust to help them three to five times a week for shifts that are as short as 2 hours or as long as twelve or even twenty hours...
I am looking for stay-at-home moms who can work for a few hours while the kids are in school or allied health and nursing students because having flexible part-time work that is compatible with a heavy school load or work where you get paid the next business day can really come in handy.
Having been in this industry for two decades, I understand what it means to try to go to school and have to work. Students need flexible hours so they can earn while they learn.
