CBRE GWS delivers consistent, measurably superior outcomes for our clients at every stage of the lifecycle, and across industries and geographies. **About the role** Working under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, applies advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiplesites..Monitors building system operations and performance. Uses several trade skills such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing,heatingand cooling. Must be flexible on schedule. **What** **you'll** **do** + Performs assigned day-to-day repairs,emergencyand preventive maintenance. Completes' maintenance and repairs, records asrequired. + Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to finish the tasks. Uses CMMS to manage work orders and track completion. + Leads troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems toinclude:plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R. + Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety laws. + Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. + Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. + Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. + Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing or snow removal. + Performs furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. + Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. + Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoningadditionalassistance as needed. + Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device **What** **you'll** **need** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training. + Possess andmaintaina valid driver's license andgood drivingrecord with periodic checks + Possess necessary skills to functionallyoperatea "full size" van/truck + Licensure as required by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) + Universal CFC certification **REQUIRED** . + Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications + Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, and training. + **Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.** Why CBRE? The minimum salary is $30 per hour and the maximum salary is $ 39.50 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
