**Manufacturing Engineer I** Manufacturing Engineering - New Product Introduction (NPI) is Honeywell's organizational link between Integrated Supply Chain and the product development functions of Engineering, Program Management, and the Strategic Business Units. AME participates in the execution of new product development programs to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved. This role will be heavily responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIR) and coordinating quality notifications with the ISC NPI and AME Production Teams. The ability to read drawings and inspect hardware builds will enable success in this position. The current specific opportunity is in the mechanical aerospace component design market space. Key Responsibilities + Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity + Support production teams by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations + Conduct data analysis to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards + Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM disciplines + Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements **WE VALUE** + Product knowledge in valves, pumps, actuators, and environmental control systems + Ability to read engineering mechanical drawings and assess for manufacturing capability + Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, and MS Project + Position requires manufacturing and supplier factory floor exposure requiring safety shoes and glasses + Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation + Green Belt, DFSS, Black Belt, Lean, or HOS certification.
