**Manager, Tax â" Tax Accounting**
Location: Bentonville, AR
Walmart has an exciting opportunity for a Tax Accounting Manager to join our Tax Accounting Global Team. In this role, you will support consolidation of the global income tax provision, SEC reporting, and tax control documentation. You will also support our international markets, including review of forecasts and annual tax provisions under both US GAAP and IFRS. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data for the tax provision, using OneSource Tax Provision to process the data.
**About Tax Accounting Global Team at Walmart**
The Tax Accounting Global (âœTAGâ) Team plays a critical role in Walmarts global tax reporting, governance, and FP;A processes. The team ensures adherence to all US GAAP reporting standards, while actively working to enhance process efficiency for the TAG team and the non-US market teams.
**What you'll do:**
+ Assist in preparation of tax provisions under ASC 740 and IFRS standards.
+ Assist in preparation of income tax disclosures under ASC 740.
+ Assist with SOX 404 documentation for tax accounting controls.
+ Stay current on changes in tax accounting standards and regulatory matters.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
+ Identify and implement tools that allow for continuous improvement and efficiency.
**What you'll bring:**
+ 2-4 years of income tax accounting experience
+ Advanced degree or certification (e.g. JD, LLM, Master's Degree, CPA, or CMI) related to Taxation
+ A basic understanding of US GAAP tax accounting standards
+ Proficiency in MS Office, tax and accounting software (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision), and data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Working knowledge for federal and state income tax concepts and compliance requirements
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax
compliance, or related area OR 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area.
