About the Job
- Provide expertise and guidance on procurement best practices and industry trends to business stakeholders in HR, Legal, and Professional Services
- Develop a global category strategy that aligns with business objectives reporting into the Sr. Director, Global Stretegic Sourcing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous improvement
- Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and KPIs. Lead supplier negotiations to secure best value in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation
- Lead the supplier selection process, including RFPs/RFQs, negotiations, and contract finalization, ensuring LS&Co. is competitive in the marketplace
- Maintain or reduce global supplier base within categories of ownership
- Identify cost-saving opportunities within spend categories and implement strategies to realize savings without compromising quality or service
- Maintain awareness of HR, Services and Management Consulting industry trends
- Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements rather than just unit price reductions
- Conduct spend analysis to uncover inefficiencies and consolidate suppliers where beneficial
- Track and measure progress against defined individual and team metrics
About You
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of indirect sourcing experience
- Strategic thinker, ability to see the big picture and align sourcing efforts with long-term business goals
- Maintain strong relationships across a spectrum of stakeholders
- Swiftly become a trusted advisor to the business on all things sourcing related
- Experience working with senior leadership, business units and cross-functional teams
- Ability to identify, recommend, and execute on different negotiation levers
- Capacity to be a change agent, demonstrating steadiness when faced with challenges
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $110,500 - $147,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
