Job Description
The HR Consulting Intern (Workforce Strategies) supports the Workforce Strategies team with various client projects and assignments including compensation analysis, engagement surveys, recruiting activities, HR compliance work and day to day outsourced HR support
Success Factors
Responsibilities - Assist with compensation analysis, market data research and employment engagement surveys.
- Review and write employee handbook policies, job descriptions, and other company documents
- Assist HR Consultants on various assignments related to research projects, recruiting activities and compliance support
- Provide administrative support to the Workforce Strategies team on a variety of functions
- Network with peers and team members at all levels
- Participate in team building exercises, community outreach and leadership development workshops
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies
- Manage own schedule, taking responsibility for role in completing work on time and within budget; strive to achieve appropriate project realization
- Perform a self-review of work before submitting to engagement lead/in-charge and client
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Perform other related duties as necessary and/or assigned

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Business or Human Resources fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
Essential Functions - Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required
