Great opportunity with Sharp Business Systems for a Field Service Technician, primarilycovering the Tucson, AZ territorybut may travel outside on occasion. Under the direct supervision of the Branch Field Service Manager, the Field Service Representative (1, 2, 3) is responsible for properly maintaining a territory of Sharp equipment along with maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through proper communications and maintenance of equipment. **Responsibilities** + Primary responsibilities of this position include the installation, maintenance, and repair of a multifaceted offering of office equipment. + This includes multifunction copy/print devices, stand-alone copy and print devices and conference room visual presentation solutions (Pro AV). + All devices supported may involve network integration with the customer's network and communicate with other devices within the customer's operating environment. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory. + Technical vocational schooling desirable (electronics or electro-mechanical preferred), or experience in copier repair or repair and maintenance of electronic equipment. + Must possess or achieve Comptia A+ certification within one (1) year of hire. + Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude. + Must successfully complete Sharp equipment pre-testing and training. + Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred. + Valid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites. + Requires frequent kneeling and bending and considerable use of hands and tools. Walking great lengths at a time. + Frequently requires moving or lifting of up to 50 pounds and able to lift 75 on occasion. + Exposure to live electrical circuits. + Exposure to extreme environmental conditions. To include, but not limited to, extreme heat, extreme cold and working with flammable liquids and solids. + Able to work in confined spaces. + Must have specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus **ABOUT US:** **Sharp Business Systems** Sharp Business Systems (SBS) is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. based subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
