Responsibilities: As a Cost Accountant in our FTEP team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of client engagements with responsibilities such as: + Conducting cost analysis for products, projects, or processes to ensure efficient resource allocation. + Preparing accurate financial reports related to project expenses, budgets, and forecasts. + Partnering with management teams to develop and implement cost controls and systems improvements. + Monitoring inventory costs, identifying variances, and investigating discrepancies. + Assisting in preparing for audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. + Developing and maintaining relevant reporting frameworks, dashboards, and tools for advanced cost analysis. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred. + Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or similar industries. + Comprehensive knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial modeling, and reporting systems. + Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. + Flexibility to adapt quickly to new projects, systems, and industry standards. + Excellent communication and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset.
