Full Spectrum Lab Services from CBRE offers a professional suite of services to a variety of clients in the life sciences industry, including those in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and genomics, as well as contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).

About the role!

As a CBRE LTS Chemist, you will perform multiple laboratory functions and various types of laboratory analysis.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for performing stress degradation studies and analysis in critical client environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods
  • Development of both quantitative and qualitative HPLC methods
  • LC-MS analysis in support of synthetic molecule development and interpretation of results
  • Preparative HPLC purification/isolation of process impurities and degradation products
  • Purification of small molecules, synthetic peptides, oligonucleotides
  • Operation of a variety of analytical instrumentation to generate comprehensive and high-quality analytical characterization results for synthetic molecules
  • Support minor instrument repairs, setup, software troubleshooting, and/or routine maintenance, including MS calibrations.
  • Preparation of laboratory reagents
  • Perform daily work activities with computer programs which may include but is not limited to:, Empower, MassLynx, Water's Unifi, Unicorn, as well as Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Document laboratory work appropriately in laboratory notebooks and/or technical reports following the client's SOP.
  • Contribute to a safe, healthy, supportive, work culture.
  • Follow applicable standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
  • Perform other lab duties as assigned.


What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 8-10 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to identify and solves the most complex problems.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyst, and interpret documents,
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
  • Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Attention to details in a fast pace environment.
